1. Services

One Stop Recovery 24/7 Ltd provides vehicle recovery and transport services, including but not limited to:

  • Breakdown recovery
  • Vehicle towing and transportation
  • Emergency roadside assistance
  • Vehicle relocation
  • Short-term vehicle storage (where applicable)

All services are carried out with reasonable care, skill, and diligence.


2. Fees and Payment

Our charges consist of a call-out fee plus additional costs based on mileage, time, complexity, or specialist equipment required.

  • A quotation will be provided where possible before work begins
  • Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept cash, debit card, and credit card payments

The call-out charge applies in all circumstances once a driver has been dispatched, including where:

  • Incorrect or incomplete information has been provided
  • The vehicle is inaccessible
  • The job cannot be completed for reasons beyond our control

Additional charges may apply if extra equipment, waiting time, or further work is required.


3. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Deposits

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule
  • Late cancellations may incur a fee
  • If cancelled while the driver is en route or on arrival, up to 50% of the quoted fee may be charged

Deposits

  • Deposits may be required to secure bookings
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed
  • Payment of a deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms

Recovery & Repossession Jobs

  • Deposits for recovery or repossession services are only refundable if the full agreed outcome is achieved
  • Recovery jobs involving vehicles without keys start from £450

Failure to pay outstanding charges may result in debt recovery action.


4. Vehicle Storage and Collection

Where a vehicle is taken into storage:

  • Storage fees may apply and will be communicated where applicable
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange collection promptly

IMPORTANT:
If a vehicle is not collected within 30 days of the recovery date, we reserve the right to dispose of the vehicle without further notice. This is due to limited storage capacity. Any costs associated with storage, disposal, or recovery of outstanding balances may still be pursued.


5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and location
  • Ensure safe and legal access to the vehicle
  • Remove personal belongings prior to transport (where possible)

We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.


6. Liability

We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. However:

  • We are only liable for loss or damage caused by our proven negligence
  • We do not accept liability for pre-existing damage or mechanical issues
  • Minor cosmetic damage (e.g. scuffs to alloys) may occur during recovery and is not covered unless caused by negligence

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.


7. Scope of Service

We specialise solely in vehicle recovery and transport.

We do not provide:

  • Mechanical repairs
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Technical assessments

Any comments made by our staff regarding vehicle condition are informal and should not be relied upon as professional advice.


8. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

Any inspection carried out is limited to a basic visual assessment required for safe recovery.

We are not responsible for identifying:

  • Mechanical faults
  • Electrical issues
  • Structural damage
  • Any hidden or underlying defects

9. Non-Recovery Related Issues

Our responsibility is strictly limited to the recovery and transport process.

We accept no liability for:

  • Mechanical failures
  • Suspension, braking, or engine issues
  • Electrical faults
  • Any unrelated defects before, during, or after transport

10. Release of Liability

By using our services, you agree to release One Stop Recovery 24/7 Ltd from any claims relating to:

  • Pre-existing vehicle damage
  • Undiagnosed faults
  • Non-recovery related issues

This applies whether such issues are known or unknown at the time of service.


11. Insurance

We carry appropriate motor trade and recovery insurance. However:

  • Claims must be supported with evidence
  • Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion

Failure to report within this timeframe may invalidate a claim.


12. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, and branding, remains the property of One Stop Recovery 24/7 Ltd and may not be used without written permission.


13. Privacy

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.


15. Amendments
